Education is always evolving. So are we.
As a school furniture company committed to improving and enhancing the learning experience, we design wholesale school furniture for all learners. With a century of experience, we’ve learned what makes education different from any other environment (spoiler alert: quite a lot), and have made it our business to cater to those unique qualities.

Makerspace
Practical insights about furnishing one of the most creative spaces in the school.
The makerspace is an incubator for problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration. Here, the learning process starts with students identifying problems or needs. The next step is to conceptualize original objects to meet those needs. Ideas are discussed, evaluated, and modified before the design stage. Next, comes prototyping, testing, and finally, manufacture.
With this variety of activities taking place, often simultaneously, it makes sense to create spaces within the makerspace that accommodate quiet, individual work as well as group work and construction.
The STEM Environment
To cement a school’s commitment to project-based learning or collaborative learning or cooperative learning, its classroom environments must also change – and change quickly. Environments should be able to be reconfigured “on the fly” throughout the day. This change is necessary to support any new teaching method being instituted.
Where to begin?
Start thinking in terms of three rooms. Room One, the Classroom: Here, students focus primarily on Math and Engineering subjects. Room Two, the Lab: Here, students focus primarily on Science and Technology – from robotics to chemistry. Room Three, the Commons: Here, students freely collaborate and learn from each other.
