PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Camera Mundi offers high-quality professional development services aimed at providing practical solutions tailored to Puerto Rico's broader educational environment.
Since 1996, our company has successfully implemented multiple comprehensive educational projects that have included the preparation of physical facilities, as well as training, follow-up and technical support. This training focuses on the use and management of the innovative technological equipment we offer and its effective integration into the school curriculum. Our faculty of highly qualified professionals develop the training sessions in close collaboration with teachers, supervisors, and administrators at all levels, from early childhood through higher education. All of our offerings are covered by the unlimited "use and handling" training warranty of equipment, which extends over the life of these products.
In addition, since 2012, the Professional Development Division or Centro Educativo para el Desarrollo Profesional (CEDePro®) has been providing training services to professionals in charge of early childhood education. At CEDePro® we are committed to improving the skills and knowledge of all early childhood educators, regardless of their experiences or learning styles. Here we offer sessions and resources to meet the needs of our core clients: Head Start/Early Head Start programs, as well as public and private educational centers that serve the 0-5 year old population.
Camera Mundi represents, exclusively, the company Teaching Strategies, creator of The Creative Curriculum®, and the GOLD® evaluation system. This methodology is used by more than 98% of Early Head Start and Head Start centers throughout the island. Partnering with this company has enabled us to train more than 24,000 early childhood educators in the last 12 years. In addition, our certified resources have provided, on average, more than 6,000 contact hours of training annually.
CEDePro® is located in our facilities in Caguas. We have six modern rooms equipped with the latest educational technology and also provide ample parking space for the convenience of our participants.
Our trainings are offered in face-to-face mode in our facilities. However, we can offer our courses on-site at our customers' facilities, and in virtual or hybrid mode.
Finally, CEDePro® is the venue for the annual SUN Clinical Simulation Users event for Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.
