What is CodeLab?
CodeLab is an interactive experience where children and young people learn programming using CodeMonkey, an educational platform that turns learning into an adventure full of challenges, creativity and fun.
What is CodeMonkey?
CodeMonkey is an educational platform used by students around the world to learn programming through games, challenges, and interactive activities. Participants advance step by step while developing new skills in a fun way.
Who can participate?
CodeLab is aimed at students of all levels, from the age of eight (8), interested in exploring the world of programming.
Is previous experience needed?
No! CodeLab is designed for students who have never coded and also for those who want to continue developing their knowledge.
What will they learn?
Through different challenges and activities, participants will develop skills such as:

How much does it cost to participate?
Participation in this initiative is completely free of charge during the allotted access period.
What equipment does the student need?
For the best experience with CodeMonkey, it is recommended to use:
💻 Laptop or Chromebook.
📱 Tablet 10 inches or larger compatible with a web browser.
Is Internet access required?
Yes. CodeMonkey is an online platform, so an internet connection is required to access activities and record student progress.
Can I use a cell phone?
No. To complete the activities and enjoy a better learning experience, it is recommended to use a laptop, Chromebook, or a tablet that is 10 inches or larger. Cell phones do not offer a proper experience to use the platform.
Can you participate from home?
Yes! Students can access CodeMonkey from anywhere with an internet connection and a compatible device.
How much time should the student spend?
There is no set schedule. Each participant can access the platform and complete the challenges at their own pace during the access period.
Do all students start at the same level?
No. CodeMonkey offers activities for different levels of experience, allowing each student to progress according to their progress.
Will students compete against each other?
No. Each participant progresses individually, completing the challenges at their own pace.
Do I need to supervise the student?
Younger students may need help accessing the platform for the first time. They can then continue exploring and solving challenges more and more independently.
Will I receive support if I have questions?
Yes. If you need help with accessing or using the platform, you can reach out to our team and we'll be happy to guide you.
Can I share the account with someone else?
No. Each access is personal and non-transferable. The license is assigned to a single student so that they can correctly record their progress within the platform.
What happens after I complete the form?
We will review the information received, and once the request is processed, we will email instructions for accessing CodeLab.
